Description: In 1942, mathematical genius Lawrence Pritchard Waterhouse is assigned to the U.S. Army's top secret Detachment 2702, commanded by gung-ho Marine Raider Sergeant Bobby Shaftoe. Their mission is to keep the Nazis ignorant of the fact that Allied Intelligence has cracked the enemy's fabled Enigma code. In the present, Waterhouse's crypto-hacker grandson, Randy -- with the help of Shaftoe's tough-as-nails granddaughter, Amy -- is attempting to create a "data haven" in the South Pacific, a place where encrypted data can be stored and exchanged free of repression and scrutiny. But Randy's scheme is bringing to light a massive conspiracy with roots in Detachment 2702 that could bring about the rebirth of universal totalitarianism.
